Bifold prices vary more than any other product — panel count, aluminium or uPVC, glass spec and threshold all move the number. That’s why we quote from a free survey rather than publishing one-size-fits-nobody prices. Tell us your rough opening width and we’ll talk you through the sensible options, then give you a clear written quote. If structural work is needed to widen the opening, we’ll flag it early.

It depends on panel count, material and glass — a two-panel uPVC set and a five-panel aluminium span are very different jobs. We’ll give you a clear fitted price from a free survey, with aluminium and uPVC options priced side by side if you want to compare.
As a rule of thumb, each panel is 700–1,000mm wide. A 3m opening suits three panels; 4m+ suits four or five. We’ll confirm at survey.
Rarely, for a rear opening on a house. If you’re widening the structural opening, building regulations apply — we’ll advise.
Outwards is most popular (no lost floor space inside). Left, right or split stacks are all possible.
Modern sets lock at multiple points into the track and are internally glazed, so panels can’t be removed from outside. PAS 24-rated options are available.
