RR Double Glazing – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which RR Double Glazing (“the Company”) agrees to supply, deliver, repair, or install products and services for you, the customer. By placing an order, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to the following conditions:
1. General Information

2. Pricing

3. Payments

4. Ordering
4.1 – All measurements must be supplied in metric and reflect full external frame sizes.
4.2 – Customers should review product guides before ordering.
4.3 – Amendments can be made within 24 hours of order confirmation; after this period charges may apply.
5. Replacements, Cancellations & Refunds
5.1 – Changes after 24 hours may be chargeable.
5.2 – All goods/services are subject to availability. If the Company cannot fulfil the order, a refund will be issued.
5.3 – If the Company cancels an order, a full refund will be provided.
5.4 – Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
5.5 – Warranty repairs will use the most cost-effective method.
5.6 – Labour faults within 12 months will be rectified free of charge.
5.7 – Replacement parts may differ slightly due to updated designs.
5.8 – If no compatible part exists, a replacement unit may be offered.
6. Deliveries
6.1 – Lead time is typically 7–45 working days.
6.2 – Deliveries are one-person; assistance may be required.
6.3 – The Company is not liable for delays outside its control.
6.4 – Rescheduling requires 48 hours’ notice.
6.5 – Delivery hours: Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, Sat 9am–1pm.
7. Delivery Without Signature
7.1 – Goods may be left without a signature if written permission is given.
7.2 – The Company is not liable for loss/damage where goods are left unattended.
8. Failed Deliveries
8.1 – Failed deliveries may incur re-delivery charges.
9. Damage on Delivery
9.1 – Goods must be inspected before signing.
9.2 – Damaged items must be signed “Damaged” for replacement.
10. Shortages
10.1 – Customers must check item counts on delivery.
10.2 – Shortages must be noted before signing.
11. Incorrect Goods
11.1 – Incorrect items must be reported within 30 days.
12. Risk
12.1 – Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.
12.2 – Additional lifting after delivery is the customer’s responsibility.
12.3 – Do not book installers before checking goods.
12.4 – Store products in a cool, dry place.
12.5 – Use outside the UK voids warranty.
13. Building Regulations
13.1 – Customers are responsible for ensuring building regulation compliance for supply-only orders.
14. Customer Installations
14.1 – Goods must be checked again before installation.
14.2 – Installation must not start if defects are suspected.
14.3 – The Company is not liable for damage caused by third-party installers.
14.4 – Service call-outs may incur fees.
14.5 – Frame sizes must be checked before removing old frames.
14.6 – Customers must select suitable products.
14.7 – Returns are not accepted where products do not fit due to customer measurement errors.
14.8 – Photo evidence may be required to assess faults.
15. Company Installations
15.1 – Surveys are required unless a disclaimer is signed.
15.2 – Survey fees are non-refundable once booked.
15.3 – Customers are not obligated to proceed until order confirmation is approved.
15.4 – If installation is not possible, an alternative product or survey refund will be offered.
15.5 – Order confirmations issued within 2 working days of survey.
15.6 – Customers must verify all order details before approval.
15.7 – Surveyors confirm operational preferences only.
15.8 – Customers must confirm all design choices before sign-off.
15.9 – Upon completion, customers must sign to confirm satisfaction.
15.10 – Customers must determine whether planning permission is required.
15.11 – Mechanical/workmanship faults will be repaired under guarantee.
15.12 – Misuse-related faults may incur charges.
15.13 – Customers must inform surveyors of future building works.
15.14 – Missed appointments may incur charges.
15.15 – Additional labour charges may apply for upper-floor installations.
16. Cooling-Off Period
16.1 – Customers have a 14-day cooling-off period unless they consent to immediate production.
16.2 – To apply the cooling-off period, customers must state:
“I want my cooling off period to apply” at time of order.
